Kocsis Rudolf - sculptor

The act of creation, by its object, is carried out over a certain period of time. If time itself cannot be seen, felt, tasted, smelled or heard, artwork provides these sensory delights. Moreover, it can condense time, has its own memory and conserves historical and personal events.

The artist, through his creation, transfers to his works the specificity of his own personality, of his native area and, not least, of the time he had available.

LATEST WORKS

T he latest series of sculptures is called Vitis and involves a conceptual redirection of creation, again in the area of personal mythologies. Viticulture and wine making have accompanied me throughout my childhood and adolescence, and now have become passions practiced in my own household.
